CircuitLogix achieves milestone of 250,000 downloads
Sets world-record for electronics simulation software
TORONTO, CANADA, November 2, 2013 - Logic Design Inc., creators of best-selling technical simulation software (such as CircuitLogix, RoboLogix and 3DLab) and leading CBT training packages (such as Electronics Technician, Industrial Robotics, and PLC Technician), today announced that it had reached a milestone of 250,000 downloads of its award-winning software, CircuitLogix. Company spokesperson Kevin Fullerton attributed the exponential growth of the software in recent years to the global demand for more highly skilled electronics technicians, technologists and engineers. "We are very pleased that our software is meeting the demand for both classroom and real-world learning environments", said Fullerton. "The evolution of CircuitLogix as a state-of-the-art simulation tool has helped us to stay ahead of the curve in the design and testing of electronic devices and circuits and we are grateful to our customers for their loyalty and enthusiasm for our products".
CircuitLogix is the first technical simulation software product to reach a quarter of a million licences, although Fullerton is confident that the market will continue to expand far beyond where it is today. "We reached this goal by providing the best product for the money and by utilizing social media to get the word out around the world", he stated. "New markets, such as India and China, are growing by leaps and bounds". In the past 5 years, the company has added robotic simulation software as well as implemented a new 3D engine for all its products. "We continue to develop new software simulation technologies and advanced algorithms, which are providing us with some unique opportunities to take technical simulation into new areas and applications", Fullerton said.
Logic Design pioneered 3D simulation software with its revolutionary software, RoboLogix, and continues to develop new and innovative technologies to meet the needs of students, educators, and corporations. Its new PLC simulation software product, PLCLogix, is scheduled for release in 2013 and will also feature 3D simulation and control. Also scheduled for release in 2013 is LogixSim, a revolutionary product which will combine a range of simulation capabilities including automation and advanced electronics.
